City Post Express was founded by Robert Swords in 2004 to solve one specific problem well: moving someone's personal belongings — boxes, furniture, household goods — from one country to another without the move becoming its own second job. Twenty years in, we're still deliberately small, and the focus is still personal effects. "Personal," though, doesn't mean "local". We've shipped households to Ireland, Colombia, Fiji, the Maldives, the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Italy, and a long tail of destinations in between.
One process, one flat-rate per package, one person who knows your shipment from quote to delivery. No call centres. No account-manager carousels. No offshore customer service. If you ring three weeks after booking to ask how things are going, you get the person who quoted you.

Flat-rate, up front, bundled.
The number we quote is the number you pay. Pickup, ocean or air transit, customs clearance, and door delivery — all bundled into one flat rate. No destination surcharges, no fuel adjusters, no "additional handling" invoices at the far end. If something comes up mid-shipment, we eat it.
It's a deliberately old-fashioned way to price a shipment, and we think it's why our customers tend to tell other people about us.
